How armor trims work in Bedrock Edition

Armor trims arrived in Minecraft Bedrock 1.20 alongside Java. The mechanic is identical:

  1. Find a Smithing Template in the world (chests, mob drops, suspicious gravel).
  2. Optionally duplicate it at a smithing table (1 template + 7 diamonds + 1 nether quartz block).
  3. At a smithing table, combine: template + armor piece + trim material.

Why most generators don't support Bedrock

Bedrock's /give command does not currently support inline armor-trim NBT the same way Java does. Most generators simply ignore Bedrock — but the visual designer works the same on both editions, since trims are just textures applied to your armor.

3dtrimview gives you the same 3D preview either way and tells you the exact smithing-table recipe, so you can replicate the design in Bedrock with one trip to the smithing table.
