Use a woodland explorer map, clear rooms methodically, and search hidden chest rooms as well as obvious loot containers. Mansions are large enough to miss loot easily.

What to bring
Bring strong armor, a shield, food, blocks, and ranged damage. Evokers, vindicators, and vexes can punish careless room pushes.
For repeat farming, keep a smithing table, diamonds, and the matching duplication block near your route so the first template can become a full armor set quickly.
