Bolt
The Bolt smithing template is one of the new patterns shipped with the 1.21 "Tricky Trials" update. Its visual is a sharp diagonal lightning bolt cutting across the helmet, chestplate, and leggings — clean, angular, and instantly recognisable next to the older 1.20 trims.
It drops from the regular Vaults inside Trial Chambers, which are unlocked with Trial Keys earned by clearing Trial Spawners. The complete Vault reward table gives a 6.25% chance per Vault; 11 openings is the median and 36 covers nine players in ten. Bring a duplicating setup if you want a full set.
Bolt looks best on Netherite + Redstone (the "Crimson Bolt" combo) or on Iron + Quartz for an electric-white look. Pair it with Resin or Copper for warmer tones.
Armor trims are cosmetic only — no change to stats, durability or enchantments.

×2How to get the Bolt trim
Bolt comes from the regular Vaults in Trial Chambers — not the Ominous ones that hold Flow. A Vault only opens for a Trial Key, and keys come from clearing Trial Spawners in the same chamber.
The full reward chain is 25% for the unique pool multiplied by Bolt's 3/12 weight inside that pool: 6.25% per Vault. Each Vault pays out once per player, so a group can multiply the attempts without consuming the Vault for the others.
Route tip Bring blocks, a shield, a bow and food. Mark cleared wings with torches; chambers loop and it is easy to re-walk a corridor you already emptied. Breeze rods you pick up along the way are worth keeping — Bolt duplicates with a Block of Copper, but Flow needs them.

Bedrock Edition
On Bedrock, use a smithing table — the /give command for trims is limited. After running:
