A bolt-shaped pattern unlocked in 1.21 with the Trial Chambers update. Drops from regular Vaults inside Trial Chambers.

Armor trims customise your gear in Minecraft. The Bolt smithing template is applied at a smithing table, which consumes the template along with one of 11 trim materials.

Bedrock Edition

On Bedrock, use a smithing table — the /give command for trims is limited. After running:

/give @s netherite_chestplate

Apply the Bolt template at a smithing table with diamond (or any other material) as the third ingredient.
