Wayfinder
The Wayfinder smithing template uses a four-directional compass-rose motif that reads cleanly from every angle — possibly the most "logo-shaped" trim of the bunch.
Like Host, Raiser and Shaper, brush rare suspicious gravel in Trail Ruins. Each rare archaeology roll has a 8.3% chance for Wayfinder. Common and rare gravel look identical, so brush the full ruin rather than trying to identify the rare blocks visually.
Pairs beautifully with Iron + Copper ("Wayfinder") for an explorer aesthetic, Diamond + Lapis for a maritime navigator look, or Netherite + Quartz for a clean monochrome compass.
Armor trims are cosmetic only — no change to stats, durability or enchantments.

Wayfinder is brushed from suspicious gravel in Trail Ruins. On the rare archaeology table, Wayfinder, Host, Raiser and Shaper each occupy one of 12 equal entries: 8.3% per rare roll.
Trail Ruins and all four archaeology trims arrived in 1.20. Common and rare suspicious gravel look identical, so brush the entire buried structure.
Route tip Excavate before you brush. The gravel is layered through the buried structure, not just on the exposed paths, so shovel the whole footprint down first and brush in rows afterwards. Carry spare brushes; a single ruin will get through several.

Bedrock Edition
On Bedrock, use a smithing table — the /give command for trims is limited. After running:
