Host
The Host smithing template uses a triple-arc motif that reads as ceremonial or insignia-like. It shipped with Minecraft 1.20 as one of the four archaeology patterns from Trail Ruins, alongside Raiser, Shaper and Wayfinder.
Find Host by brushing rare suspicious gravel in Trail Ruins. Each rare archaeology roll has a 8.3% chance for Host; common and rare suspicious gravel look identical, so expose and brush the full ruin and treat all four patterns as one combined farm.
Best on Netherite + Quartz for high-contrast monochrome, Diamond + Emerald for a regal council look, or Iron + Redstone if you want the curved pattern to glow.
Armor trims are cosmetic only — no change to stats, durability or enchantments.

×2How to get the Host trim
Host is brushed from suspicious gravel in Trail Ruins, on the same archaeology loot table as Raiser, Shaper and Wayfinder. It is not a Trial Chamber reward; Bolt and Flow are the two templates from that structure.
Every rare gravel roll can reveal any of the four Trail Ruins templates, with no way to bias it toward Host. Excavate the whole ruin and treat the four patterns as one combined farm.
Route tip Bring several brushes and a shovel. Clear the full buried footprint before brushing in rows, and keep Terracotta plus a crafting table nearby — Host duplicates with Terracotta, so the first copy can become a full set immediately.

Bedrock Edition
On Bedrock, use a smithing table — the /give command for trims is limited. After running:
