The Shaper smithing template is the most geometric of the four Trail Ruins trims — interlocking triangles that form a continuous pattern across helmet, chest, leggings, and boots.
Brush rare suspicious gravel in Trail Ruins to find it; each rare roll has a 8.3% chance. Common and rare gravel look identical, and Shaper shares the 12-entry rare pool with Host, Raiser and Wayfinder, so clear every suspicious block in the ruin.
Best with Netherite + Copper for an earth-toned archaeology look, Iron + Amethyst for purple-on-grey contrast, or Diamond + Quartz for a snowy geometric feel.
Armor trims are cosmetic only — no change to stats, durability or enchantments.

Shaper is brushed from suspicious gravel in Trail Ruins. On the rare archaeology table, Shaper, Host, Raiser and Wayfinder each occupy one of 12 equal entries: 8.3% per rare roll.
Common and rare suspicious gravel look identical. Trail Ruins are largely buried, so expose and brush the whole structure instead of trying to identify rare blocks from their texture.
Route tip Bring several brushes and a shovel. Clear the topsoil across the whole footprint first, then brush systematically in rows; the common failure is brushing the visible blocks, deciding the ruin is dry, and leaving two thirds of it untouched under a metre of dirt.
